Murday clock ( # 22 )

This clock main feature is the big balance wheel which has a 12 cm. diameter.

When in motion, the balance wheel is simply imposing and it seems it never wants to come to a halt.

The balance wheel is kept in motion by the impulse given at the end of its oscillation (this and the lack of compensation for temperature change, are liable for this clock of low timekeeping which, anyway, stays in a table clock limits).

The dial is transparent glass to let the movement to be viewed.

The energy to keep the balance wheel in motion is given by a 4.5volt cell which is hidden inside the base and allows the clock to run approximately one month.

I have built two clocks based on this design (number 22 and number 23) which differ in just few details.
