about me
This picture is part of an article seen on the "Corriere della Sera" ,
the most important Italian newspaper

After my degree in marine engineering at the Nautical Institute in Camogli I served several years on ships, mainly cruise ships, sailing in the Caribbean in the seventies.

I got married and started a business ashore with my wife, but my love for every mechanical issues still remained strong.

Clockmaking started as an hobby twelve ,or so, years ago, my former interest being live steam model locomotive.

Retiring time is now approaching very quickly and I'm planing to convert this hobby into a profession.

Those who had the patience to read me until here have realized that English is not my first language.

Hope you enjoyed my site.

Carlo

incidentally.....
...this is not my cat, but I feed it every evening ; as soon it is full up it disappears until next evening!!!
...and after a couple of years....
